How much fun is Polariod!! Last month I met up with Juliette, an old classmate from Western Academy of Photography, and together with her daughter Ellie, we spent the day picking strawberries & raspberries.
What does a photographer do on a day off? Pick up a different camera and shoot some more. A couple months ago The Impossible Project had an offering of a batch of PX600 UV+ Black Frame that had not been produced with stellar results. Only a limited amount of film was available, and I was lucky to pick up a couple bags full of the film. I’ve shot quite a bit with the film; some frames are excellent … others produce tear, or rip-like parts in the image, which, depending on where you point of interest is, does produce some cool and unique results.
I decided to bring along my “Thelma & Louise” cool pink Polariod camera to get a few shots of Ellie as she enjoyed the afternoon. Here she is, taking a break from the long and tedious task of picking [uhm, eating] the fruit.
